Important

Booking a place on any Power Medics course confirms that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Important Information (Online Training – Priority Requirement)

Legal names and email addresses must be provided in advance to allow learners sufficient time to complete their online training.

Failure to provide this information will result in:

• The face-to-face training day being unable to go ahead
• No refunds being issued
• Transfer to an additional date will incur an administration fee
• Our Portal sends official registration automatically and Power Medics follow up with an additional email. We ask that you check all files once expecting this email

2. E-Learning Requirements (Mandatory)

Power Medics operates blended learning for many courses. Completion of online elements is compulsory.

• Learners must enter their LEGAL NAME correctly upon registration. An administration fee will be charged to rectify errors.
• All online learning MUST be completed at least 24 hours prior to the practical training day.
• Failure to complete the online training within the required timeframe will result in:
• Refusal of entry to the practical day
• Requirement to re-book and pay accordingly
• If you are unable to re-book within 1 month, you will be required to retake the e-learning.

3. Booking & Payment Terms

• Places are non-refundable. However, you may transfer (gift) your place to another person.
• Access to future dates may incur an administration fee.
• For privately booked courses, payment must be completed within 7 days of booking confirmation. Additional members may be added after this date.

Booking and paying for your place / your colleagues / your family member / friend it is an understanding that you agree to our Terms & Conditions

• Late payment prior to course commencement may result in:
• Withholding of certificates until payment clears, or
• Refusal of entry to the course.
• Only one voucher, discount, or promotional offer may be used per course purchase.
• All products sold in conjunction with Power Medics are non-refundable.

4. Attendance, Conduct & Participation

• Learners should inform their trainer of any medical conditions prior to attendance.
• You must be physically fit to participate in practical elements. Kneeling is required for most in-person courses.
• All courses involve physical activity, which will be assessed.
• Lateness or failure to complete required guided learning hours will result in:
• A fail of the course elements
• Entry denied to the session
• No refund issued
• Re-attendance may incur additional resource and administration fees.
• Bad behaviour toward students or Power Medics staff will not be tolerated. You may be asked to leave without refund.
• Students must respect course resources and venue surroundings. Damage may result in charges to the candidate or employer.

5. Course Delivery & Instructor Provisions

• In the event of instructor illness, 24 hours’ notice will be given where possible and an alternative date offered.
• In cases of severe weather preventing travel, bookings will be honoured on the next available date.
• In times of Fuel Crisis or unexpected events, resulting in Power Medics being unable to deliver sessions, a future date will be arranged.
• Power Medics reserves the right to cancel courses due to low uptake. An alternative date or full refund will be offered.

Instructors:

• Hold Enhanced DBS checks
• Hold safeguarding certification
• Maintain Public Liability Insurance
• Complete annual quality assessments

Power Medics completes risk assessments for all activities, including venue suitability.

6. Awarding Organisation & Compliance

Our resources and course structure are provided and supported by:

• First Aid Industry Body (FAIB)

Courses comply with:

• Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines
• Ofsted guidelines
• Ofqual regulations

Non-regulated and awareness courses are delivered to the same quality standards.

7. Venues

Where courses are delivered at community venues:

• The host site is responsible for ensuring booking availability.
• Power Medics accepts no responsibility for double-booked or unavailable venues on the agreed date.

8. Certification & Replacement Certificates

• Certificates are generated within 3 days of course completion.
• Certificates are issued to the original sign-up email address (or manager’s email where applicable).
• Replacement certificates incur an administration fee.
• Certificates will only be reissued once outstanding payments are cleared.
• Names changes / misspelled changes will incur a fee

9. GDPR & Photography

• Power Medics retains qualification and contact information for a maximum of three years for requalification and refresher reminders.
• Data is handled in accordance with GDPR regulations.
• Photographs may be taken during training. You may decline at any time.
• Social media may be used to promote:
• Community engagement
• Educational resources
• Sponsors and supporters
• We encourage participants to share images and promote community partnership positively.

10. Parent / Carer Participation (Children’s Courses)

• Parents/carers must not interact with children other than those for whom they are responsible.
• No photographs including other children are permitted without prior parental consent.

11. Fundraising & Cashback Rewards

• Any training rewards or cashback incentives must be claimed within 10 days of issue.

12 Awareness & Level 2 Courses

Our Terms and Conditions reflect the same structure whether completing online elements or purely face to face training.
